Mark Carter and Shannan Yate won the North Face Master event after bad weather and two canceled days. With seven feet and seven days, competitors had to put themselves on hold, while they were treated with two eplc POW days. The women started first with all the fresh snow the riders had no problem hitting every terrain feature in sight. With the conclusion of the women's competition the men prepared for their one and only run so every turn meant the difference between in and out of the ratings. As the comp continued Ryan Hudson a 21 year old Alta resident tore up the event and went huge at the bottom. His run earned him The North Face Young Award. By the end of the event the judges crowned Mark Carter of Jackson Hole the winner of the men's division and Shannan Yate the women's division.
