Premieres in Downtown SLC Words CL - Photos Bryce Packham (packhamphoto.com)Arkade Mag went to the Burton Premiere at the Gateway Theatre in downtown Salt Lake last week and just like last year it was a packed house. A few big names were on hand to sign autographs and stoke the crowd out for the upcoming season. This is the most highly anticipated and most rider-exclusive Burton film project to date being headed up by Burton Team Manager and filmer Gabe L'Heureux. "The B Movie" takes aim at high level production while marrying the art of snowboarding with the epic landscapes and beautiful imagery inherent in the winter wonderland locations the Burton team find themselves in. Featuring Terje Haaksonson, Nicolas Muller, Jeremy Jones, Mikkel Bang, Ellery Hollingsworth, Keegan Valaika, Shaun White and Danny Davis among others, "The B Movie" should do well to get you stoked to shred. Jeremy jones section was sick! he apparently filed the serrations off from the binding's ender plate, allowing the board to be "whipped" around on one-footed airs, and thus allowing the skate board trick "shove-it"/"360 shove it" Jones part was classic heavy bangers, crazy 360 shoveits from or over what ever you can imagine and insane backcountry hits. Mikkel Bang has to be one of the raddest riders I have met. All the kids were way stoked on him.
Jeremy isn't just a snowboarder; he is a skater, a family man, and a true pioneer of his sport.
